I went to see Andy for a chronic neck pain issue, after 2 visits, the pain is gone,...forever! Paul
Andy gave me a general full body treatment for no descript aches and pains and wouldn't you know it, he improved my golf swing. - Dave
I fired my chiropractor and my physiotherapist because Andy's work seemed to cover all of the bases. Thanks to Andy's advice, I've lost weight and feel much better than I did before. - Kathy
Osteopathic Massage is a very soothing and relaxing treatment with significant therapeutic value. With a synergistic combination of deep soft tissue massage and osteopathic techniques, mental and physical stress relief and lasting resolution of aches and pains can be achieved.
The soft tissue massage uses elements of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Bowen Technique and Brandon Raynor Tension Release massage. It can promote relaxation and may lower blood pressure along with loosening up tight muscles and aiding in pain relief.
Osteopathic techniques such as Muscle Energy Techniques (a form of facilitated stretching), Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, Joint Mobilizations and Visceral Techniques take it to a new level of therapeutic effect. Visceral manipulation involves massaging the abdomen to relieve tension in the organs, or viscera. Myofascial release eases pain and stiffness in damaged fascia. Cranio-sacral therapy is focused on improving wellbeing and health, and uses a light touch to circulate cerebrospinal fluid through the body. Every form of osteopathy comes with a different set of benefits and it’s important to discuss your options with your therapist.
A specific technique or combination of mentioned techniques may be used in a session therefore each treatment is customized to a clients specific needs and wants.
Also your therapist may recommend stretches to do at home and other lifestyle suggestions to assist in your healing and overall well-being.
Osteopathic Massage is done over thin, loose clothing. Recommend to dress accordingly.
